- 本品は、一過性発現系又は遺伝子組換（そのＤＮＡにヒト遺伝子の複製物を安定に挿入）のいずれかを使用したカイコによって産生した単鎖のヒト遺伝子組換ペプチドである。出発遺伝子は、コラーゲンα－１（Ⅲ）のコードを持つヒト遺伝子と同一になるように合成したものである。そのペプチドは、ジスルフィド結合と糖鎖付加の両方又はいずれか一方を含む最大で１４６６個のアミノ酸からなり、固有のアミノ酸配列を持つ。Silkworm sh-Polypeptide-69 is a single chain recombinant human peptide, produced by silkworm after after using either a transient expression system or transgenesis (stable insertion of a copy of a human gene into its DNA). The starting gene is synthesized to be identical to the human gene which codes for Collagen Alpha-1 (III) Chain. It contains a maximum of 1466 amino acids, which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation. The protein consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
